2016 is coming to a close and while you may be completely exhausted from a busy holiday season, there is no excuse for a lousy New Years Eve! You’ve got one last opportunity to top off a great year with a bit of bubbly- and here’s how to do it! Celebratory Champagne cocktails are the easiest way to impress your guests without much fuss! I always start with a great Champagne (like Perrier-Jouet) and then top it off with something fun and a delightful Sparkling Cocktail is born.
The “New” Old Fashioned Champagne Cocktail is both classic and contemporary. This delightful drink is a fabulous way to remember the good times of 2016 and celebrate what is to come in the new year! Simply start by dropping a sugar cube into a Champagne flute, add a dash of bitters, a couple dashes of whiskey, and top with some bubbly! Finish with a maraschino cherry and a brûléed orange for the perfect New Years Eve pleasure!
Our Vanilla Pear Cocktail begins with a sugar-rimmed Champagne flute, followed by homemade vanilla pear syrup. We, then top it with Champagne and garnish with candied ginger and a sliced pear. This is the perfect seasonal sparkling cocktail to celebrate a sweet year!
And finally, a festive mocktail is also in order for kids or those wanting to start the New Year off without a hangover! We like a cranberry fizz, presented in a cocktail shaker for the fun of it! Just combine cranberry juice with vanilla pear syrup and top with club soda. Float a few fresh cranberries and you’ve got something special for everyone!
Have An Amazing 2017! Cheers!
