It is always a joy to work with our favorite creative partners Tricia Hamil, Viridian Design Studio and Wendi Poole, Thompson Poole Photography. I am amazed at how our combined creative efforts seem to naturally flow to produce inspired totally unique concepts. This shoot was loosely planned based on a few elements, copper, urban, wood, rustic/elegant. All agreed that this shoot should look like no other. Props were gathered, food and flowers ordered, Cartewheels went to work in the kitchen as Viridian worked their magic creating the altar and table designs.
The altar was defined by a whimsical hanging arrangement of greenery and flowers. The limestone walls at EVENTS at Water St. make a neutral backdrop for any decor.
Set for an intimate ceremony at EVENTS at Water St. Kerrville’s newest premier venue.
Who doesn’t love Charcuterie, complete with pickles, dried fruit and Marcona almonds?
Love that vintage mother of pearl pickle fork
Vintage china paired with contemporary plates made a striking contrast along with eclectic flatware and copper bottom glasses. Damask napkins with copper name tags served as place cards. All were set on pickled wood farm tables.
Stunning tablescape by Tricia Hamil, Viridian Design Studio continued the eclectic theme with the use of cloisonne box, ram horns, trophies along with mixed metals, fresh grapes, berries, and pomegranate to compliment the gorgeous florals.
Don’t you just LOVE that orchid peeking out of the trophy?
EVENTS at Water St was the perfect venue for this shoot with the concrete bar and crystal chandelier, creating the juxtaposition of industrial and elegance. Rustic hors d’oeuvres included Roasted Grape and Goat Cheese Crostini, Blistered Shishito Peppers with Beet Chips, Candied Bacon Wrapped Butternut Squash on twig skewers.
